Sorry about the confusion with regards to the use of your artwork on our site!
If you recall, when you joined the Audrey Hepburn Sightings Flickr group, you agreed to a number of “group rules” one of which being that you gave us permission to use your photo here on our site, as long as we gave you credit! So sorry that wasn’t made more clear up front.
We think the painting is just beautiful and were so excited to see it added to the Flickr pool.
Please let me know if you have any further questions! Hope you allow us the use of your photo!

Hi Carrie,
No problem, you can use it! :)
I just saw it was on the tribute site yesterday, so I guess a couple of suggestions for you…Suggest you send a Flickr mail notification when you plan to post to the site, so folks can see what you are doing. I was not aware that I’d agreed when I posted it to the group, but I did look at the group notes yesterday, and I’m fine with it. Email is just more of a courtesy (plus unless they proactively check for comments on older photos, your selections won’t even know they have been posted. Like me. :)
Also, on Flickr, the images are labeled with copyright notice, but on your site, they are not. That is why I posted the new copyright notice in comments on this site. It is directed to others, who may see it here for the first time. The painting image is the property of my son, so I felt it was my responsibility (since I took and posted the photo) to make sure this was protected. I just don’t want to see it mass produced by someone who thinks it’s ok to make money on it because there is no copyright marking. (Not likely, but you would be surprised…)
Anyway, please use the image and enjoy it. I love it, too.
The Tribute site is just lovely. Thanks for creating it.
